This site was conceptualised by Alankar Atreya out of his passion for Nepali language. This site provides Nepali to English Dictionary believing that this will help many Nepali as well as Nepali enthusiasts to learn and understand Nepali words.

The online Nepali English dictionary started as a desktop project with an aim to develop a windows based dictionary software. There are very few online dictionary in Nepali language and as internet is easily accessible, web based online dictionary was a good alternative to desktop application. The design of this website is customised from BlackTie.co themes. This version of the dictionary has about 6000 words and we are committed to continuously improve this dictionary over time.
